# VB STM32 Programmer

The VB32G4 supports programming and debugging through an SWD interface and a serial port. Both interfaces are accessible via dedicated solder pads and a 6-pin JST GH connector.

To allow access to the serial port without requiring an external USB-UART converter, a custom programmer/debugger based on the ST-LINK/V2-1 has been developed. This device provides support for a Virtual COM Port (VCP) as well as drag-and-drop programming via Mass Storage Device (MSD) functionality.

Firmware updates for the programmer are available using the official **STLinkUpgrade** utility.

In addition, a small adapter board is available for standard ST-LINK/V2 programmers, but it lacks VCP (Virtual COM port) support.
